Halloween Costume - Sheriff Woody Pride

Woody is an old-fashioned pull-string cowboy doll. The voice-box that is activated by the pull-string says many simple phrases such as "Reach for the sky!" , "You're my favorite deputy!" and "There's a snake in my boot!" As mentioned in Toy Story 2, his construction includes an "original hand-painted face, natural dyed-blanket stitched vest, and hand-stitched poly-vinyl hat." Woody wears an empty gun holster at his belt. He is Andy's favorite toy since kindergarten, with a special spot on the bed, and is the leader of the toys in Andy's room. In Toy Story 2 it is revealed that he is based on the main character from a popular 1950s TV Show, Woody's Roundup. When Al is bargaining with Andy's mom in an attempt to take Woody, Andy's mom declines Al's bargain, stating that Woody is "an old family toy." Stinky Pete also directly refers to him as a hand-me-down toy later in the movie, and when Woody finds a record player in Al's apartment room, he states "I haven't seen one of these in ages!", again supporting that he has been around longer than Andy. (In fact, when introducing the 2009 set of Toy Story collectibles, John Lasseter said "We always imagined he was a hand-me-down to Andy from his father.") He is voiced by Tom Hanks in the films and by his brother Jim Hanks on other occasions.

Although he has been deemed the boss in Andy's room, Woody is somewhat of a flawed character as seen in all three movies, as he has random bouts of jealousy, anger, frustration, and feelings of inadequacy regarding his role many times. He even is seen harming (almost destroying) Buzz in their first encounter to stay in Andy's good graces. These emotions often arise out of his frustration of being an immortal toy adjusting to his human owner aging.

Halloween Costume - Bo Peep

Now you can bring the sweet and lovable shepherdess, Bo Peep, from Toy Story to life with this beautiful officially licensed Deluxe Bo Peep Costume. Bo Peep is a sweet and lovable porcelain shepherdess figurine. Bo Peep and her sheep are adornments of Molly's bedside lamp. She is inspired by the of the classic children's nursery rhyme, Little Bo-Peep. Bo is sometimes considered to be "Andy's toy", because Andy likes to make her the damsel in distress in his plays. Bo is the romantic interest (later girlfriend) of Woody, providing a calm and loving comfort whenever he is scared. She is noted for using her shepherdess crook to hook her cowboy and bring him closer in a romantic way. In private, she is a great deal more daring and seductive with her words and actions, which Woody seems to be quite fond of. She seems to have faith in Woody, which is shown when she assures him that Andy, who is excited to have Buzz Lightyear, will still have a special place for him and that whether if Woody has his hat or not, Andy will still take him out to Cowboy Camp. In Toy Story, she is one of the very few toys in Andy's room who believed that Woody would not intentionally harm Buzz when he accidentally pushed him out of the window. She is shown to be shocked upon hearing about Woody's disappearance when Andy comes back home from Pizza Planet. On the night before the moving day, Bo Peep is shown to be worried about Woody when she sees a sad Andy sleeping. Later, after witnessing Woody being thrown out of the moving truck under Mr. Potato Head's orders, Bo Peep helps the toys realize that "Woody was telling the truth," and the toys brighten up. In the end, Bo Peep and Woody kiss under a mistletoe.

Halloween Costume - Hamm

Hamm, often known as Hamm the Piggy Bank, or on occasion as Evil Doctor pork chop when used by Andy as a villain, is a wise-cracking realist piggy bank with a cork in his belly (to replace his original stopper which was lost prior to Toy Story). He and Mr. Potato Head appear to be best friends, as they are often seen playing games and clapping hands with each other whenever something spectacular happens. Also, Hamm takes a dislike to the chicken mascot of Al's Toy Barn, especially when he later realizes that Al McWhiggin, the mascot and owner of Al's Toy Barn, as well as the crooked yard sale customer who stole Woody, are the same man. Out of all the toys, he is shown to have the most knowledge of the outside, often being very familiar with different technologies or devices that are shown. I don't know if this will be a big seller or not for Halloween, but it is kind of cute and apart of the Toy Story Trilogy, appearing in all three movies.

Buzz Lightyear to the rescue as 'Toy Story 3' sets box-office record

By Jonathan Brown

Eleven years since Toy Story 2 broke cinematic convention by proving to be a better film than its original, British audiences must endure the best part of another month before catching the third instalment in the adventures of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the toy cupboard.

But in the United States, where studios had a series of flops in May and the worst Memorial Day attendances in 15 years, Pixar's long-awaited new release hit the screens last weekend and has become the pioneering animator's fastest ever grossing film.

Forget Gold, Buy Toys Instead

Watch Hasbro, Mattel before movie releases with toy tie-ins

All companies with lagging share prices should consider launching toys to coincide with their other initiatives, given what a UBS analyst has discovered. Robert Carroll focused his research on Hasbro Inc. and Mattel Inc. - two U.S.-based toy marketers and manufacturers, on which he raised his target prices on Monday - but could a Goldman Sachs Lloyd Blankfein action doll now be in the works?
