Lego is coming out with girl friendly products now, as the brand has been dominated by the boys for a great deal now. This is mainly focusing on brightly colored blocks, primarily pink blocks and female figures. This set, LEGO Friends City Park Cafe 3061, comes with
Andrea and Marie mini-doll figures and features kitchen area, inside and outside dining areas, counter and cash register.
My wife finds it interesting that girls are pushed with the color pink and that boys are pushed to have blue items.
I find it interesting to see what exactly this product and similar products that are more geared to girls are going to do. Can Lego add a girl audience with these products? My daughter is satisfied with the products they had before, however we now are the proud owners of some pink Legos... do I don't know. Any thoughts?
